Steve to direct new biopic ‘So Alone’ about the legendary guitarist and singer, Johnny Thunders starring Michael Imperioli from the Sopranos.
‘So Alone’ tells the story of the legendary punk rock forefather from his humble beginnings in New York to his untimely and mysterious death in a New Orleans Hotel room. It is the story of a shooting star's rise to fame in the 70's which takes us from New York Underground clubs with The New York Dolls to London where Johnny's Heartbreakers opened for The Sex Pistols and inspired Punk Rock. It also tells, for the first time, the true details of his tragic death and casts doubt on the official version that he died of a heroin overdose.
